Down tree tunnelled lanes, though pheasant filled fields, along tree-filled river banks, to a tiny waterfall – the only natural one in London.

We parked at the Wotten Hatch (51°12’59.6″N 0°23’20.0″W) to have lunch, then walked from there. The closer option is Broadmoor (free) car park (51°11’50.7″N 0°22’50.1″W) on Sheephouse Lane.
