England, Sussex: Devil’s Dyke

Part of the south downs. In summer you can find fields of wildflowers, making it a pretty walking spot, but even in winter a walk on the downs is pleasant enough.

We also stumbled across an old grain barn at Saddlescombe Farm open to visitors.

I got here by public transport (the 77 bus from Brighton Station seems to be the easiest route) but I believe there’s also a car park (50°53’09.1″N 0°12’41.0″W) by The Devil’s Dyke pub.
