St Nectans Glen is my favourite spot in Cornwall, it’s just such a magical little waterfall with prolific stone stacking, decorated and coin-embedded wishing trees. The area has been appointed a Site of Special Scientific Interest because of some rare plant specimens, so keep an eye out where you step.

We parked in the (free) car park (50°40’15.0″N 4°43’30.2″W) on the B3263, there’s also a bus stop by the beginning of the signposted trail which is across the road from the car park. The trail is about a mile, down a narrow road and then into the forest where you walk along the river, eventually reaching the waterfall site.
