Wales, Powys: Pistyll Rhaeadr

Pistyll Rhaeadr is Wales’ highest waterfall, an enchanting spot nestled in the Berwyn Mountains – with cafe and B&B. The first time I came here I was around 13 years old, but I had strong memories of it and wanted to return… it didn’t disappoint!

To visit, park in the paying on-site car park (52°51’18.2″N 3°22’36.7″W) and walk through the little gate by the cafe, or park a little before the end of the road at one of the laybys (52°51’13.9″N 3°22’23.9″W) and take the public path before the cafe:
