England, East Sussex: Beachy Head and Birling Gap

I’ve been wanting to visit Beachy head ever since seeing a photo of it rising out of the mist. Apparently, this is quite unusual and so I didn’t expect to ever see anything like it, however, while in Eastbourne we saw a heavy fog rolling over the cliffs and took our chance; at first it was too foggy to see anything at all, but then the fog rolled over the cliffs giving us some really super views that fulfilled my image of the place. What great luck.

Afterwards, we continued on to Birling gap:

With a quick stop at the Seven Sisters Sheep Sanctuary:

We parked at the (paid) Beachy Head Main Car Park (50°44’28.5″N 0°15’10.7″E), and at the (paid) Birling Gap car park (50°44’34.7″N 0°12’07.1″E)
